Topics:
In Health, we learn about safety in general and internet safety, including dealing with chats, Facebook, email, and many other parts of the internet.
We learn to view ourselves from God's perspective and not the world's. We are created in God's image
(Gen. 1:26-27). We also learn to take care of our
bodies (wellness, fitness, our skin, hair, nails, ears, eyes, etc.) because we are a temple of the Holy Spirit
(1 Cor. 6:19-20). We also learn about manners and
how to treat others.
Babysitting Course:
Even if your child does not baby-sit, there are very useful skills in this course. Topics covered include the
responsibilities of babysitting, how to feed, care for, and play with children, accident prevention, and how to handle emergencies and illness.
