Babysitting Course:

We do the American Red Cross's babysitting course this year. This course will run through the rest of the year. At the end of this course, if your child passes the tests and completes the skills successfully, they will be certified through the American Red Cross. This is a one-time thing. Once they are certified, it does not need to be renewed.

Even if your child does not baby-sit, there are very useful skills in this course. Topics covered include the responsibilities of babysitting, how to feed, care for and play with youngsters, obstructed airway skills, accident prevention, and how to handle emergencies and illness.
